Spring At Home

My dear friends, I hope you are well wherever in the world you are.  Here, spring advances with warmth one day and retreats the next.  Today rain is falling gently; each drop like a warm kiss reviving a healthy glow every leaf has longed to see return.  It transforms desolate woodlands to glossy deep hues of greens, browns, peachy pinks and transparent blues.

Quiet activities fill my days … reading, painting, baking, …

"Spring drew on … and a greenness grew over those brown beds, which, freshening daily, suggested the thought that hope traversed them at night, and left each morning brighter traces of her steps."
- Charlotte Brontё
